I can download at about 1.2mb max but can only seem to upload about 124kbps. Anyone think they can help me get more out of my upload. I have a 100mbps connection so I dont know.

    Thanks

are you sure you have a 100mb connection ?.if so you should know your upload speed .why dont you do a speed test. stop all programs and anything else running on the pc ,do your speed test and see what you get.

by that speedtest i can see u have a 10mb/1mb connection so u'r upload and download speed are fine
    1.2mb X 8 = 9.6 (almost 10mb)
    124kb X 8 = 992 (almost 1mb)

That's certainly the way NTL work, only it's even worse.

I have a 10mb connection so can download at up to 1200kb, but my upload is a max of about 50kb.

There's nowt I can do about it.

Fortunately (strange thing to say) I rarely get that sort of speed on BT so it doesn't feck the ratio too much. I get that download speed on usenet, but that doesn't present a sharing problem.

There are some people on NTL and Blueyonder that are on some speed trials and their up speed varies from 70-90KB/s although 120KB/s is more that i expected.

I had the same problem with this, and tried everything I could from open port forwarding, NAT to update router firmware but nothing works. I called my isp provider, the guy said eveything is fine in their system and he doesn't know why...
