Best Way To Copy Dvd?

I was wondering if there is a way to compress the video so that I can fit it all on one dvd+r. DVDXCOPY can only do so much and I'm tired of having two disc set movies. Thanks.

Goto http://www.dvdrhelp.com/ and http://www.doom9.org/. Both sites have indepth guides on several software packages to do this.
