That download link seems to point to Version 2.

Try this one for 1.5.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

I didn't realize that they would continue with updates on the older version.

    Quote for site:
Firefox 1.5.0.x will be maintained with security and stability updates until April 24, 2007. All users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to Firefox 2.

I also noticed that they have just released a new version of Mozilla Thunderbird 1.5.0.8

    Release Date: November 7, 2006

Mine updated automatically too but I don't have the issues that you're having.

Do you have many extensions installed? I only have 1 "MinimizeToTray".

I thought I would give 2.0 a try. Now I remember why I don't jump on the latest versions - about a quarter of my extensions no longer work.

vbulletin does that with their releases (still updates the 2.3.x, 3.0x and 3.5.x versions when security flaws are found even though the latest is 3.6.x).
It's probably for people who can't use the latest 2.0 version because of extensions not working.

Ah you have to be patent Lynx , as I got mine working but it is a learning experience . Must be tuff for people that are just learning tho .I prefer FF 2
but its a bit of a learning curve.

For the ones that like the newest and best its easy , My problem with Thunder Bird was solved with a simple reinstall .

Sorry most of my Extensions were updated with in the week . I laffed there called Add ons now ?

I like the 2th version, tho' to be fair I didn't have a whole load of extensions / add ons installed anyways.
