Because it would make this thread more worthwhile. ... As opposed to all but 5 sites closing, which wouldn't be narrowing down the sites much and would be pointless to start a thread about.

I really think i would chose demonoid if i had too even know there speeds aren't the best and they don't seem to know how to track ratio for crap.

they track ratios perfectly. u just have to follow the protocol they want u to. they update ur ratio with the "stop" command in ur torrent client, and not during tracker scrapes. i'd have to say sct, if not, probably demonoid also.
