    Urgent

Where did the review section go?

Ok, so I got my hands on both brand new phones (both came today) and I'm bored so I made a quick review...

Both phones use T-Mobile service and are My Faves Compatible.

The differences I have noticed so far (not all the features of both phones have been used):

    Pros

    Samsung t619
-Has slightly better picture quality, and lighting than the Razr.
-Many more picture options (7 different resolutions to choose from)
-A lot more picture editing options (eg: mosaic, black and white, negative, emboss, sepia, sketch.
    -Neater looking GUI.
-Shows full date and time right on the screen.
-External LCD shows basic needed information.
-External LCD is slightly bigger than the Razr's (only a little longer.)
-Has the same slim profile as the Razr only very slightly fatter but not as tall or wide as the Razr.
-Has a brighter main LCD screen.
    -Better battery life
    -More internal memory (around 25mb).
    -MP3 and Video player.
-Supports AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, and MSN Messenger.
    -Holds up to 1000 contacts.
    -Fits easy in your pocket.

    Motorola Razr
    -Bigger main LCD size
-Can take pictures with the clamshell closed using the external screen.
-Can activate external screen with the clamshell closed by pressing any outside button.
-When bluetooth is enabled, the LCD shows the bluetooth icon on top where the battery display and signal are displayed. Also, outside of the phone the bluetooth icon is illuminated blue when it is enabled.
-Uses USB port for charging and connectivity with a PC.
    -Fits easy in your pocket.
-Can use speaker phone with the phone closed.
    -Phone hacks.

    Cons

    Samsung t619
    -No external memory slot
    -No USB.
-External LCD will only stay on for a few seconds then shut off
-Can only turn the external LCD back on is by opening then closing the phone.
-Slightly smaller main LCD than the Razr.
-Cannot use speaker phone with the phone closed.
-There are no phone hacks I know of.

    Motorola Razr
    -Not as comfortable to hold.
    -Less battery life.

Hope this helps any potential buyers.

The whole idea of flip phones was that you didn't accidentally press the buttons when it was closed.

Then the moronic designers put buttons on the outside.

Both of them are crap IMO.

Well I can tell you obviously don't use a cellphone. I like the outside button you can press so you can view the time w/o opening the phone, and saving battery too.

I think the point is that the number keys are inside the phone so you cant dial a number accidently.

With my SE w300i the outside buttons will activate the lcd screen and if pressed a second time give some information about appointments and memory usage, etc. for a few seconds then it shuts back off.
The middle button will turn on either radio or mp3 (whichever was last open) but the button is kind of hard to push accidentally so I've never had music start playing randomly (yet ).

Anyway I think mine looks hotter than both of yours gam3guy

    Why 2 anyway?

I think that rossco was referring to the "John Smith" in the pics above. See the "" at the end of his post?

@rossco- Hey, the Razr is still cool to have. I have 2 phones because our family plan allowed 3 upgrades and we chose both these phones for under $50 each. I reviewed these phones because we considered buying one or the other and they have the same price and almost same features. T-Mobile only gives you a small list of phones that you are allowed to upgrade to.

Cool phone though rossco. Your phone is cooler than my phones. Which service do you have?

    rogers.
I had the choice of it or the Razr for $50 as the only one cheaper was shite and I didn't want to spend any more money than that.
