thanks for this, trying newsgroups out for the first time although to be honest bittorrent seems faster, easier and im able to find more files so im not gonna end up signing up to a newshost (is that what their called?)

i have downloaded a few releases which were all incomplete and now i'd like to fill the missing chunks with data from another server. is this possible and if so, how should i proceed ? thank you
