Any trackers with a nice selection of ipod video content besides ipodnova.net ? site has a nice selection but seems to be pretty slow. thanks

podtropolis. youre not gonna find a fast ipod video tracker. i think that's about it. x264 has a lot of mp4 files, which play on ipods

Do all mp4s work on iPods, or do they have to be a certain codec?

im pretty sure its all mp4s...they should all use the same codec im assuming..

not all mp4's use the same codec, at least im pretty sure they dont. (for example, the site x264.us has mostly mp4 files, most of those use the x264 codec)
