If I open a page with a Quicktime video, FF doesn't open the video. But if I copy/paste the URL into IE, it works just fine.

What gives? Is there a plug-in or something I need?

i have no script enabled on my ff and that for the most time disables all videos and java. that makes ff not able to have 100% playback on certain videos. instead of enabling java for that webpage and/or some odd script i just tab over and it plays fine. if u have the no script ext this may be ur prob.

i think you must install quicktime alternative. orginal quicktime may be not currently installed.. according to me u must uninstall any quicktime programs (alternative or orginal) and clear all registry of quicktime at regedit. Restart pc. and install last version of quicktime alternative. u can find quicktime alternative www.free-codecs.com/download/QuickTime_Alternative.htm ....................... and u can use to cleaning registry http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm ..
