These are my stock system specs
and since I've bought the computer I've upgraded only the ram to about 1 gig and upgraded to a 128mb graphics card.
Is this ok for Windows Vista 32 bit?

If my system specs check out can someone direct me to where i can download a clean version of Windows Vista 32 bit?

I was about to post about your Vid card and RAM, but I see you've taken care of that. IMO you're good to go with Aero effects, but be sure to run the advisor like Basquiat said.

As for directing, just goto a torrent site and search for Vista. Be sure to read comments if available and the nfo.

My recommendation is to install it on a secondary partition just for testing as I have installed it on 8 machines now and drivers and other things tend to fuck up (guess it's kind of early). You might wanna test it before you use it as your main OS.

You should also get the local activation server if you want to have it activated.

It's not much work really. You install VMWare... loads the activation server, then you start the Vista installation and validate with the commands from the NFO file.

You have to use a second computer for the activation server as VMWare won't run on Vista.

Anyway, you can install Vista and use it and not activate just so see if it runs ok on your machine.

That sounds easier than what I did...I had to goto safe mode and replace files... And I second the double partition test, although I didn't have any driver errors.
