are newsgroups better than torrents?

no i use them both
if i were you, i would search for better torrent trackers first
and you can't use xsnews anyway because you don't live in .nl

newsgroups are pay to leech...torrents are free...on newsgroups there are many more things but harder to find imo ... i tried newsgroups for a day or two but didn't find stuff better than the one i found on trackers

...but a combination of both i think would do the trick and the money i think are well spent

I just want to know if it's worthing one month here on these forums and than another one for begging for an invitation at biteme.org. That's why I asked people that have newsgroups if they are satisfyed compared with good trackers like biteme.org (the 1 I am here for).

If you are looking for new scene stuff i would use bittorrent, but for older releases i would use newsgroups (which is why i use both).

those xvid releases can be found on newsgroups (that is a list of stuff that has been uploaded in the last 30 days).

bittorrent and usenet are the perfect filesharing combination imo.

great...Bucharest ownz...it has loads of good trackers and even more dc hubs due to the fact that almost everyone has 100 mbps within the city
