Whats the best way to set up my Bell receiver, EDTV, and DVD player?

This is what the TV has:
    1 x S-Video input (4 pin mini-DIN) - Rear, 1 x Composite video/audio input (RCA phono x 3) - Rear, 1 x SCART (21 pin SCART) - Rear, 1 x VGA input (15 pin HD D-Sub (HD-15)) - Rear, 1 x Audio line-in (Mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm) - Rear, 1 x Headphones (Mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm) - Rear

    S-Video from receiver?
    red/yellow/white from DVD player?

Or is there something better to do?

Don't know if your receiver handle audio/video or just audio signals.

Either way, feed your audio[and video] through your receiver and use it to switch between sources.

Use S-video for any video cabling you do, otherwise yellow, RCA-type cable will suffice.

There are 3 types of audio cables:
    (in order of quality)
    1. optical digital
    2. orange RCA-type coax digital
    3. red & white RCA-type analog.

    hope that helps.
