Because that's what the admins tell us. It's on the front page dude.

Invites are given as soon as you sign up. Only 4, that's it. Once you use them they are gone. The only other time you would recieve invites is when the admins feel that they should give them out.

maybe it's just another normal tracker, but only 2000 users is very limited, so we either get in now when we can and find out how good it is or we regret not signing up when/if it's the new u***
