How To Stop Child Porn?

Okay...first of all don't start in with the "If you weren't looking for it then you wouldn't get it" stuff. I look through people's files to make sure they share. If they don't have a good reason for not sharing, I don't share with them. Other times I'm just hoping they have other cool stuff. I'm usually pleasantly surprised. However, too often I stimply find child porn in their files. And whenever I do it's usually more than just one or two pictures that they forgot to delete. Some of these people have collections that would make any normal person with a soul vomit. I unfortunately know all too well how much it hurts these children to be exploited like that. It ruins their entire lives. They have to live with this forever. And for what? A quick thrill for a sicko? Oh well, back to the point at hand. How do I report these people? I know there must be someone that I can contact. I know the Great Gods of KaZaA do not approve of ruining people's lives. I know that this is not what they meant by sharing. If anyone knows how to help me get these scum, please post here. I thank all the wonderful people for all your help.

not sure if u can report, maybe take there i.p. and time. and try find out there isp and report it?

why don't you surprise the sicko and message him. tell him you know exactly what he has in My Shared Folder and you were taking steps to do something about it. who knows? he could get scared off and delete them !

Thanks to everyone in here!!! You have taught me how to take care of these people. In the last 2 days I've reported 5 of them to the authorities with what they tell me is plenty of evidence to get a search warrant and raid their computer. It makes me feel good knowing i've destroyed those who destroy children. I do not message the people I'm doing this to for one simple reason. The more child porn they have on their computer when the cops get there, the better. Let them explain 50+ files of child porn to a jury..."eh, it was mislabeled...ya, 20% of my stuff is mislabeled....i didn't know" ya, sure. They're gonna get it, and that makes me happy. Most of the police and all of the ISP people I talk to know all about Kazaa, and have no intention of taking any action against Kazaa. In fact I found out one of my local cops uses Kazaa primarily to catch criminals. He says the police like Kazaa because it makes finding these idiots a lot easier. Child porn lovers think Kazaa is a great way to get child porn. But it is an even better way to get caught with child porn.
