Uploading Problems-Proxy server???

Hi all,

I can download great with a number of sites but uploading is a problem. Im using a university computer because there quicker and think the problem may be because im behind a proxy server (only a guess). Is this the case and can I get round it?

Any help would be much appreciated.

They are probably throttling the outgoing bandwidth which most colleges and isps for that matter do.

Don't cry....

Best thing to do is get a proper ISP rather than using university network. They suck anyway because if they find you downloading they usually hassle you.
