Relativism is the point of view that all points of view are equally valid.

I believe I have been advocating this for some time now.

relativism

Main Entry: rel·a·tiv·ism
Pronunciation: 're-l&-ti-"vi-z&m
Function: noun
Date: 1865
1 a : a theory that knowledge is relative
to the limited nature of the mind and the conditions of knowing b : a view that ethical truths depend on the individuals and groups holding them
2 : RELATIVITY
- rel·a·tiv·ist /-vist/ noun

In other words, relativism is the the knowledge that somebody, or group, has in their own minds. No matter how wacky or strange their knowledge is, it is what they know and how they precieve what they know. A necrophelic cult, for example is strange to you, but pefectly normal to the cult member.
