Definetly Kaspersky. Norton is way to sloooooooooooooooow..
Although, I find Kaspersky slow at times too. Just not as bad as Norton.
    (yeah, I tried both).
    blah blah blah... whatever...

Kaspersky's the best, very reliable but slow at times.

KAV - Enable: scan new & changed files only, iSwift & iChecker.

1st scan time will be slow. All following scans will be wicked quick. Quicker by far than even NOD32.

I want to know who the people were that voted for norton (2) They must either be oblivious or be running a super computer not to notice the extreme and arguably unnecessary strain that it puts on your system.

Because Nod32 has "fixed" a few of my "friends" PCs that had Norton and other Antivirus programs on them. Nothing was showing with the other AV programs yet the erratic behavior was obvious. Nod32 picked them up almost immediately!

Nod32 is also fast and I find it uses very few resources. All that makes it my latest trusted tool.

Yeah I just got hip to Nod32. It uses very few resources like you say. I had been a long time user of Norton AV and Firewall, and it was just a pure system hog. Now I am using Nod32 and Outpost. God combination. I tried Kapersky but it was a hassle configuring it so I just said screw it. That said, I can't really say it's better or worse than Norton, but at the same time, I wouldn't go with Norton either.

Ive been using a combination of NOD32, Windows firewall and a router for years and ive only had maybe 5 major infections. Im talking since 2000. They were all my fault too, opening up stuff from limewire, directly connecting to the internet..you know..stupid mistakes.
