I just watched this and it was mediocre.

I was a bit surprised since the book was phenomenal!! It was packed with details and loads of emotion.

A lot of the dialogue in the film was inaudible and I had to turn the subtitles on like 3 times to comprehend what was being said. There was basically no character setup, and the movie seemed to jump around far too much.

I'd give it 6/10. I'm glad I downloaded it and didn't pay good money at the theater.

    Anyone else disappointed with it?

    yo

didn't care to much for it either. am awaiting the follow up though for it's good VERY good ratings. to many soldiers crying doesn't make a good movie to me. crying soldiers don't need to be soldiers. we always got rid of those.

I've tried 3x to watch this, still haven't made it half way yet. Sounded so promising too.
