Thread: Hinged Case front - take it off ?

  1. #1
    Hi Guys

I have a Thermaltake Aguilla case, and in general I am pleased with my new PC in it.

It has a nicely designed front door which is hinged which can be set up to swing open either right or left handed.

As I tend to open and shut my case quite a bit to put in CD's etc, I am thinking of taking it off to save the hassle of bending down and opening and shutting it.

Can anyone think of any reason that I should not take it off. I don't think It will affect the cooling etc, and it will still look quite nice as the case has nice silver grills.

    Regards

Why not just leave it open?

But if you want to remove it go for it, there won't be any problems unless power buttons or something are on the door (which i doubt).

Take it off if it bothers you.

I avoid cases with those doors.

I have two computers with those doors and BOTH doors are broken off. Argh. Never buying a case like that again.
