For imaging Paragon Hard Disk Manager v8.0. I use the Pro version recovery CD.

For cloning Acronis MigrateEasy v7. I use the bootable CD here as well.

Restore from, I suppose that's your meaning.

You might want to give Paragon Hard Disk Manager v8.0. (Pro version recovery CD) a shot. It makes bootable images. And ime has perfomed better than Ghost & ATI.

I'm finding it easier just to use a Xp slipstreamed disk such as Black or Indigo when I reformat , its so much faster and so easy the cat could do it . Mind you all my pics and music are burned to DVD already .
