    thank you for your responses. ill have to check these out an see what works with my budget and computing needs

    If I wanted to go with a top of the line processor what do you think I should consider it...price being no barrier?

    This is your "top of the line processor" it's quad core the only one out.

    Goes for $849

    You'd need a quad core Mobo too atleast gonna cost another $150+ but that will last you a few years.

    That's an AM2 based system.

    Since you've already waited this long, guess what?
    Yup...another Intel price cut, end of this month.
