Thread: Looking to upgrade a Dell E310 for like $200...

  1. #1
There's really no upgrade options with the stock mobo. I saw a couple $50 microAtx boards that look promising. I pretty much just want a new mobo, psu ofcourse, and a nice graphis card. Any suggestions?

If you want a motherboard, PSU and a graphics card for under $200 then you won't end up with much more than what you already have.

You plan on keeping the CPU and RAM?

If you need more PCI slots then microATX boards don't have lots of those.

I think you need to be very clear on what you're trying to do and why.

play games homie.. i kno micro's dont have many slots but rite now i have ONE free pci express(thats shitty). i dont need a hi-end supa-doopa graphics cards. just sumthin that will get me by.

and yes i wanna keep my cpu n ram, the reason i need a microatx is b'cuz of dumb dell's case.

Virtual, what would u recommend(disregardin the budget)? thx guys

You seem to use the terms PCI and PCI Express interchangably. What exactly do you mean and why do you need more than one free?

What do you mean by dual mobo?

Harry: thats what i want... but the Dell mobo can only take 1gb.

Virtual: yes, i am usin the term loosely. i have one pci express free, But pci xpress cards suk. by dual mobo i mean the option to add another cpu.

    Global: yup. yup. and yup

    thx erybody

You are using the term criminally.
You keep confusing PCI and PCI-e...PCI-e doesn't suck.

by dual mobo i mean the option to add another cpu.
Why do you want TWO processors?

    Global: yup. yup. and yup

    thx erybody
Ditch the Dell, start from scratch.
