hello...i formated a p4 and put windows xp.....but i cant connect to the internet with the ethernet card....i doesnt even regognise it...but when i put the ethernet in my notebook everything is ok.....can anyone help?

Is the ethernet port on the motherboard? If so, have you installed the chipset drivers?
Have a look in Device manager and check that the system says that the ethernet port is working.
If not, find the correct drivers.
If it is, use Network Setup Wizard.
