Wondering if anyone else has seen this.
I've had this problem with every vista from rc1 to the final which i'm using now and i've formatted multiple times.

The problem is after a restart I can't access any MSN/microsoft sites or the youtube site. I can't get to msn.com, msn.ca, hotmail, microsoft.com, passport.net. live, etc. or youtube.
Can't even sign into msn messenger.
Firefox, or IE, say 'looking up...'then 'connecting...' and never load the page.

Then usually after a couple hours those sites will start working fine, all together at the same time. And they will keep working forever until I restart then this all starts again.

While they're not working my other computers, with xp, are all able to connect to these sites fine.

It's the wierdest thing i've ever seen, and getting really annoying.

The last reply in that thread you posted, about MTU settings, I didn't beleive would help...

Well up to today I was still having this same problem as my original post so today I finally decided to give google another go to find the solution (thinking that since vista's been out for so long there must be another person out there who suffered the same problem...apparantly not?).

I looked over this thread again and the link you posted and tried adjusting those mtu settings and guess what? It worked!

Can't believe I didn't try this back when I first posted this thread.

    Thanks.
