Its going to be weird seeing large threads with only a few posts.

Yeah but if you ignore them to ignore their threads then you ignore their posts as well.

I would like to have the option to ignore their threads but read their posts. I know that sounds mad but it makes sense to me.

Anyway if I have to out and out ignore them to stop seeing a whole page of inanity so be it.

Bumping a shedload of old threads in one go should be an infractable offence. To stop them doing that as well.

Actually, the way it is now for me, I see their posts in other threads, but not their own threads.

Are they all invisible to you now?

Yup. You ignore someone on there, you just can't see their posts, so you don't even know they exist.
