Is there any type of Web UI for a newsreader? Like what uTorrent has where you just go onto the internet type in your IP address and you can tell your PC to download something. I am looking for this for when I am at school or somewhere and have the urge to start downloading Just wondering if there is a newsreader that has a webUI or some sort of addon?

Autounpack has a feature where you can send NZB files to a mail account, then it will download and place the file in a folder. Both Newsbin and Alt.Binz autograbs NZB's from a specified folder.

I got a reply on another forum. Sabnzbd does what I want but I can't get it to work when I enter http://myip:port/sabnzbd
    my ip = 82.18.xx.xx
It only works when I type http://127.0.0.1:port/sabnzbd

How do I change it so it works when I enter http://myip:port/sabnzbd ?

Theres a host box in the config section with 127.0.0.1 in it but i dunno what to put there (tried my ip address)

Maybe you have to open some ports (incoming) on your router (if you have one)?

I opened the port i setup sabnzbd to use but it still wont work, maybe im not entering the right thing in the host box in the config section? says 127.0.0.1 at the moment (my ip address didnt work when i entered it). Strange, the utorrent web ui works fine.

someone on another forum posted this:
By default, webaccess is only allowed from localhost. If you want to be able to access it from outside, you have to change the listen ip to the external ip of your network card.

And don't forget to set username and password, in order to keep a decent security level
How do I get the external IP of my network card?

nvm I got it working! I put 0.0.0.0 as the host in the sabnzbd config file and now it works.
