    You need root access to install TF, i believe it has a BitTornado backend you have to install

    Im pretty sure he wont be able to install it even with access to a mysql database.

    BitTornado is included in TorrentFlux, but you need Apache, MySQL, PHP and Python running for it to work. Check the forums here.
