Is it easier for hackers to hack into your computer if you are using k-lite and can video, sound and picture files contain viruses?

still get yourself a firewall and antivirus and you should be fine.

edit: just noticed the last bit. no video and sound files can't. what they can contain is buffer overflows in the name data. this is very rare and there would have to be a exploitable flaw in your player. most players dont have them any more.
