Can you tell me what would be the best audio codec.
I'm unable to listen to any films on my pc, but i can listen to music.
Do i need a audio codec, and if so what would be the all round best one.

I've got a codec pack to play any type of film but got no sound.

Also, get G-Spot. Very usefull to get information about codecs used in video files.

Check out CCCP (Combined Community Codec Pack), it works wonders.

I would stay away from large codec packs. Open up the video file in Gspot and find out what codec you need, then download only that codec. Alternatively, you can download ZoomPlayer and in the options page, it tells you what codecs you're missing and gives you a link to download them.

Your best bet is VLC. Only one application to install, and (almost) no more codec problems.
