Thread: [question]How to Dl using torrents if you're firewalled ?

    well i live in dorm and my isp block torrent and any other p2p program. any idea how to figure it out ?

    well i tried http tunnel and it's doesnt work as well. but if direct download i can used it but tehre are not alot of website who offer direct download.

    i use utorrent and eventhough it's encrepted, it's still doesnt works.

    any suggestion ?

    i think that you can't download since p2p programs are blocked ..

    Proxy most likely does not help, because it doesn't hide/mask the traffic, only reroutes it.

    try using common ports like 80,21 you might get it through.. but if the isp is traffic shaping then you're in a bit of a pickle.. you're gonna have to use a VPN tunnel to get decent speeds.. secureix worked for me
