how do the trackers ban the unactive accounts??
is it on the basis of not logging into the account or not sharing data??
suppose i have an account where my ratio is 0, 0dwnd, 0upload, but login into tht account regularly, will i b termed as inactive??

I'm not completely sure, but I'm willing to guess that it's based on torrent activity and not on your logins.

Depends which tracker. Most trackers, if you just log in it counts as you being active even though you havent DL or UL anything. Some trackers which make u DL or UL stuff include
    -pisexy(first 2 weeks of being a member)
    -FTN

Most common trackers allow you to log in, and count that as being "Active".

    well, here's what bitme says:

Accounts inactive for more than 42 days are automatically disabled. Simply logging in to the website is not considered activity. To avoid being disabled, the account needs to be used for upload/download; otherwise it is inactive, even if it is parked.
and since it is common 42 days i would be carefull with trackers that are important to you.
also, J.A. i would like to know if you have tried being inactive with u/d on some of major trackers for 42 days and just log in, as this thing bothers me too and it would make my life much easier thanks.
