hi guys, i was wondering what should i have installed on my pc in order to watch my satellite stations(channels) on my pc.
i know i need Tv tuner but do i need decoder also?

I'm not sure if there is decoders for satelite for pc.
I'm sure there is but I've never seen.
But one idea is to just hook up your receiver to the pc's tuner card/capture card and use it to tune the channels.

receiver means extra space which i dont have, i was wondering if there is a card for it.

DVB card .. acts like your reciever... codecs that you might req. are mpeg2 codecs (powerdvd, windvd, nvidia, elecard etc.)
