what does this software do, as there isnt a lot of support on the website. i am unsure of what it does and how i should set up, someone please help, thanks in advance...

PG protects your PC from being scanned directly by evil corporations like the RIAA and Warner Brothers when your on any peer2peer network. In other words it will stops you from getting your ass sued off for copyright infringment.
As far as setup goes there really isn't any, just install and run it and click on "Support" then "Visit PG2 IP Database" for up-to-date lists.
