Really it's hard to choose because many things am looking for can't find it always on torrent trackers and also the same thing happens when i use emule so the both are essential to me in my opinion but if we are talking about the speeds bittorrent wins the 1st prize

Iam not so good with mirc and i didn't used a newsgroup channel ever before, even i hear a lot about them and how fast the are but couldn't reach to the top one to use until now
