    I was just wondering if anyone knows if we are going to see a revolution in downloading speed in major ISPs in next 6 months!? (specialty in new york and Ontario)

    I know FiOS is coming to New York so the other ISPs are bound to ramp up their speeds to compete with FiOS. I don't live in Ontario so I can't help ya there bud.

    sympatico upped there regular DSL from 3mbps to 5mbps here in Quebec... dunno bout ontario.

    For next 6 months, FiOS from Verizon is probably the best option.
