First of all, your ISP has to offer newsgroups. If you happen to have Comcast, then you would first have to apply for an account from Giganews before you can view newsgroups. The first thing you should do is contact your ISP (or visit their website) and find out if they offer this service, and if so you will need to know the server name for their newsgroups, and if you need a user name and password to sign-on. Then you need to enter this information into a news browser. You can use Outlook Express, but personally I prefer Agent. If you use AOL (and God help you if you do), I believe you can only view them from within the AOL interface.
