Hey just a quick question, would this work on any dedicated server? or is this guide for leeware.com's servers, and will it work with centos 4?
sorry if its a stupid question, im just a little confused..
balbaid: that message means libstdc++ is already installed, most likely through yum. If you want to install the newer version, you can type this first: yum remove libstdc++. But I wouldn't advise doing that as it can break compatibility, the prefer method of installing new apps is through the package management system (yum).
vizard: the general idea of this guide will work on any linux system (install vnc, wine, utorrent), but the process for each is slightly different. For Centos 4, you have to add some extra repositories first (instructions here), then this guide should work just fine.
Thank you for this.
Has anyone managed to install utorrent on centos without problems?
