Video Card question

I resently dl C&C Tiberum and I can not get it to work. When I did a sytem requirement check I get the following error:
64 MB DirectX 9.0c compatible video card (NVIDIA GeForce4 or greater; ATI Radeon 8500 or greater (Radeon 9200 and 9250 PCI not supported). Laptop versions of these chipsets may work but are not supported.)
You Have: Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family (Intel(R) Calistoga Graphics Controller)

Is there anyway I can just do an update or do I need to purchase a new video card to play this?

Hi,
you only have an onboard video card. It's not meant to be used to play games, just simple office work or some less resource-needing games.
There you'd have to upgrade.

Isn't this a laptop?

It's hard to upgrade the graphics card on those.

Yes, mobile chip should be a laptop . Upgrade is not easy as on desktop computers , but it's possible. From my own experience Dell notebooks are easily upgradable
