Astronomers have detected water in the atmosphere of a planet outside our solar system for the first time.

The finding, to be detailed in an upcoming issue of Astrophysical Journal, confirms previous theories that say water vapor should be present in the atmospheres of nearly all the known extrasolar planets. Even hot Jupiters, gaseous planets that orbit closer to their stars than Mercury to our Sun, are thought to have water.

    very interesting stuff.

scientists seem to be finding on earth where ever there is water there is life even in the most extreme conditions.

Barman said his discovery would not have been possible without the observations made by the Harvard team.

This is another form of disinformation and an insult to Cambridge Graduates..

I heard in the SlavaNap Lounge ..that the Barman was drunk at the time and had actually been peering into his beer glass and was confused.

..and anyways... It was a Cambridge graduate that discovered that Orion is filled with vast fields of..alcohol and then it's logical, who would create a universe without the necessary water to drink it with. Harvard infidels more like.

edit: These sort of observations will NOT help their application to join our Annual Boat-Race on the Thames! That's for sure. Losers.
