New computer help!

I was thinking of getting a new computer, my spending money is 1000 dollars, I was thinking of getting a ASUS P5B DELUXE CORE2 DUO MOTHERBOARD $225.98, with a EVGA E-GEFORCE 7600GT 256MB DDR3 PCI-E $139.98, Intel Core2 Duo E4300 1.86GHz Dual-Core Skt 775 $209.98, and 2 AENEON 1GB 667MHZ PC5400 DDR2 DIMM $145.96, and 2 320GB IDE Hard Drive 7200RPM 16MB Cache $213.96

Total cost= 935.86
Total cost with tax=1226

looks like I went over my limit does anyone have any suggestions or think of anything better I should get? thanks for the help

I have a case and power supply a dvd-Rw and 160gb and 40 gb that im keeping from my old system, and the Hard-drives are SEAGATE 320GB IDE HARD DRIVE 7200RPM 16MB CACHE

Oh wait should I be getting the SEAGATE BARRACUDA 320GB SATA-2 HARD DRIVE 7200RPM 16MB CACHE instead its the same price, srry im not too sure about the diffrence between IDE and SATA-2

I agree with the Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 CPU, you can easily over-clock it with the stock cooler and get it to out preform the Core 2 Extreme X6800 that costs $1,000!

edit: Nevermind. Looked at profile. Why don't you go to one of those stores in Chinatown in Canada to buy your parts? I believe they don't charge tax there.

I suggest getting a cheaper motherboard(gigabyte ds3 for example) and get a x1950pro instead of a 7600gt. x1950pro is far far superior to 7600gt and will make a huge difference in games.

Also, you can probably get 500gB hard disk for 120$, so get that instead of 2x320(unless you want 2 disks so that you can run raid).
