    Everytime i open firefox i get this message..'There was a problem with the request'

    how do i resolve this?

    Fix the problem

    Try uninstalling then re-installing with a fresh version from mozilla.com?

    before doing that; clean the temporary file and cookies , maybe it helps without reinstalling .

    maybe it's being delivered by your homepage. If it uses scripts, then there might be some errors there.
