Is there? I'm sick sore and tired of downloading a 400mb file to discovered 1 or 2 files are corrupt and it ruins my time, the download and the entertainment I could of gotten from the download so is there any repair tools for this?
Advanced zip repair from http://repairfile.com works perfectly, I just fixed a 250 meg file for visual studio. But dont use that free version off their site because it wont fix files bigger than 3 megs. Go to http://cracks.am
and put "advanced zip repair" in the search box. Choose one of the 1.53 loaders and your set to go. [/b][/quote]
Like I said if you get the CRACK not keygen then AZR will fix any sized file whether you get it from the site or anywhere else

at least if you get their copy you know it won't be corrupt.

Winrar and winace both have a repair option in them. Winrar shows it plainly on the top.
Winace, right click on the file and choose repair. Sometimes winzip files can be saved if you grab and copy the files from the temp directory before you click the OK button on the CRC error box. Then just search for the files listed in the CRC error report and try to reinsert them into the program.

You have to open winrar and winace from program files and browse to the damaged file to do this. You can't just click on the file.
iv never seen that, i had a curoped file, and i deleted it, damm . oh well ill kepe thta in mind.

balamm you got it wrong, WinRAR and WinACE can only repair an archive when it has a recovery record - most archives don't have these

I think maybe you haven't played with as many messed up machines as I have or done as many recoveries!!
I wouldn't have suggested it if I didn't have first hand experience doing it.
I didn't say it worked all the time, but there's almost always a work around if something doesn't work the first time.
Could it also be that you don't have the latest full version of these programs?
Winrar does something I kinda like although I wish the info was more specific, When you run a repair on any file format, it looks for suspicious entries and asks what it should do with them if any are found. And, it finds a Lot of straaaange entries in MP3s from kazaa, emule, etc.

I cant find any working cracks for them the latest version is 1.6 and no cracks will work and I can only recover things under 3mb which is next to useless

I've tried to repair corrupted files using all those programs with the exception of Advanced Zip Repair(and it don't do .rar files) and have never been successful!
It seems that if the file you need to repair is a major one it won't work.
I don't think they repair jack squat unless it's a very minor file.

If you would have read my post in the first place instead of listening to these other morons you would have repaired your files by now.
You are SO godlike!

A little abrasive and ignorant, but soooo demanding of your minions undivided attention and loyalty.

Hell, the rest of us might as well pack up and move on with this kind of competition, lol. (Don't count on it&#33

Oh, and I have to agree about the virus problem on that crack site you're promoting. It's quite polluted!
