I will upload some DVD documentaries in bitme. Is it ok if i use dvd format there? I mean i just copy my dvd then make a torrent file and upload it or do i need to make it in rar files or in any format? Any information? Thanks.

This is my first time uploading a torrent in any tracker. so i need some guidelines. I check their FAQ but there is no info regarding this. Tnx again.

Don't worry about it. Bitme allows either rar'd files or unrar'd files. Just upload the dvd and include a little description somewhere. Good luck with your upload.

I prefer Xvid files rather a DVD

There a lot of programs for DVD2Avi. One free and simple is DVDx

AVI would probably be better if you have a slow upload connection.

DVDR would take a few days to seed for most people.

i prefer .avi and if you want to know, ripping a dvd to avi well is quite diffucult and requires a few steps, if you need help with it i would be glad to help you out, teach you how to do it "scene standard"

I prefer DVD because with my seedbox, I can easily seed that back.

However, more people would be likely to jump on a .avi as it would likely be easier for them to seedback (and if not, it doesn't damage your ratio too badly).

I like DVDx for ripping to .avi.
