    This thread is nuts! Who cares how many alarms he uses.

    The important thing is to have a quiet/silent computer. You definitely don't need an Apple to achieve that.

    If I was to build something really quiet, and getting money for it wasn't a problem, I'd start out by getting something like this.

    Just run a total water cooling setup with a corsair psu, then you should be set.

    There are may ways to go about this,MS.
