I never tried using one, but me and a friend are thinking of sharing one for a few months.

I am thinking of getting one with Windows server 2003 installed

Will we be able to use Remote Desktop with only XP Media Center edition (mine) XP Home edition (his) or do we need XP professional for that?

Also: is it easy to set up uTorrent using Remote Desktop? We never tried anything like this before, but know our way around our PCs.

remote desktop works on xp home, so i assume it would be on mc also

setting up utorrent on the server is just like downloading it on your home computer. you open ie, utorrent.com, download.. you know the rest.

    Cool. Thanks for quick reply

Think I found a great deal as well

about $80/month for truly unmetered and 100MBit + 29$ one time fee for Windows installed.. or am I wrong?

They actually stressed on the webpage that it was indeed unmetered

You might be able to get good usage, can you pm me the provider? I've probably heard of them before, not sure though.

I prefer not to say right now, because I want one first. I can post it after.
