Seeing as Musicworld has a "What music are you listening to right now?" topic, I thought I'd try something similar for Bookworld...

The idea is pretty simple... as the topic says, post what you're reading now, and if you know, what book is next on your list. Reviews and/or ratings are optional, but please try to avoid posting any spoilers. This is one topic where generalizing is a good thing.

    I'll kick off...

Currently reading Hitchhiker - A Biography of Douglas Adams by M.J. Simpson.

Simpson is acknowledged as the world's leading authority on the life and career of Douglas Adams. It's been said that he knows more about Adams' life than Adams himself did.
This is one book where the term "in-depth" doesn't sufficiently convey the author's knowledge of his subject matter; borderline obsessive would probably be more suitable, imho.

I've found it to be a real eye opener.

Next up on my reading list is The New Discworld Companion by Terry Pratchett and Stephen Briggs.

Nothing, currently. I'm waiting for a shipment.

I did just finish Dress & Decoration in the Middle Ages, Pharohs of the Sun, and Gulag. Likely the next book I'll read will be A Feast For Crows.

things are quiet until hitler decides he'd like to invade russia
    so, he does
the russians are like "OMG WTF D00DZ, STOP TKING"
and the germans are still like "omg ph34r n00bz"
the russians fall back, all the way to moscow
and then they all begin h4xing, which brings on the russian winter
the germans are like "wtf, h4x"

To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee (I won't read this if not for my English assignment).

Next up, a beautiful mind by Sylvia Nasar or The informant by James Grippano.

Books have been lying around in my room for a long time.
