but in the 3rd question, how is a person suppose to get 5000? whats the illusion there?

that's the only one I got wrong.
It's because I got to 2090, added 1000, then for some reason when adding ten instead of going from 3090 to 3100 i went to 4000. Because I did it all in my head, and screwed up. :/

But I don't get why 5000, 4000 is the illusion answer
