my gaming was getting a bit unstable. i hear a click and a little hum when i play games. than after a minute or 2, the pc crashes. . i raised the agp voltage from 1.5 to 1.6, and no more crashes. is that safe to do? my gpu's temps are the same

It's the same as raising the CPU core voltage - upping it increases stability when you're overclocking. I suppose it depends on the card and how far you've tweaked it.
Obviously you don't want to up it too far.
