I'm currently thinking of installing Photoshop CS3. At present, I use CS2 and it's great, but I was thinking of making a switch to CS3 since it's new and all. So is it worth switching or is CS3 the same as CS2?

I use the CS3 beta version and I think it's better that CS2.
The pallet windows on the left and right are docked.. and won't overlap the image anymore.
Well, I haven't started looking at the differences, but one thing I noticed right away is there is now some structure to the windows. Before, your toolboxes would be scattered everywhere, and if you had a large image you would have to constantly rearrange them. Now, one simple click will retract the boxes. They snap too.
It's worth it to me to upgrade just for that cuz it's FREE!!
Just love the cs3, specialy cs3 Extended. It has some great new stuff:

and so on.
CS3 is definitely better!
Cool, I didn't even know there was a CS3! Also, thanks for those links, now I can check out how much better this is from CS2.
Thanks for those links and all your responses. Seems like I'll upgrade to CS3 then.
are these versions of cs3 out the final retail versions or are the all betas?
Yeah, they're final versions.
