Of course the most recent one is Italy vs France, Germany 2006
Older ones:
Italy vs Netherlands, 1/2 Euro 2000, Toldo was outstanding that day
France - Brazil, `98
France - Russia `97

lol.. before I read your post.. I was thinkin actual Football (American)
Hmmm.. so many in the past, but last season, would have to be Champions League thrashing of Roma by Manchester United... 7-1
Going Back in the days, I have to say Italy - Germany 4-3 at Mexico'70
Utd vs. Arsenal with the infamous Giggs goal
"Our generation has had no Great Depression, no Great War.
Our war is spiritual. Our depression is our lives." - Tyler Durden
Italy 3 - Brazil 2
1982 world cup
That Brazil team was something special but Italy still conquered them. Amazing game.
Most memorable would be the 2005 European Cup Final, when Liverpool came back from 3-0 down to win. I almost stopped watching at half-time. I'm so glad I didn't
Also, the 1999 European Cup Final, when Man Utd won the game by scoring 2 goals in added time.
I can also remember when Arsenal stole the (what was then) English First Division Title by beating Liverpool 2-0 in the last match of the season, in 1989.
In terms in international football, nothing really stands out as much. England beating Holland 4-1 in Euro 96 is one though. Also England beating Germany 5-1 in Munich in 2001 was another one I remember. My earliest memory of an international match was in Spain 1982, first match of the World Cup. England beat France 3-1, and Bryan Robson scored in 27 seconds.
We should have won that world cup actually, we never actually lost a game. Stupid 2nd round group system, and also stupid Kevin Keegan's inability to head the ball...
/rant over.
