Yeah it's been on DVD for awhile now. The most cost effective way is to get a Blockbuster Total Access membership (4 discs a time). You'll be able to rip that series and many more for $24 in one months time.

I used to watch it back-to-back with Earth 2.

It was a very expensive show to make. I remember it having the asshole from The Green Mile playing one of those AI folks (I think they were called Silicates).
